This is the flight you have if you just want to visit us and “HAVE a GO” at flying one of our late model Jabiru training aircraft with one of our fully qualified volunteer Instructors.
On the doorstep of the magnificent, world famous Barossa Valley, you can experience the joy of flight.
Fly a Powered Aircraft
We offer 2 different flying experiences:
1/2 hour flight for $122 – Fly locally near the Gawler township
1 hour flight for $222 – Fly over the Barossa Valley
Whatever flight you choose you will be encouraged to take the controls of the aircraft. Your TIF could be one of the most exciting things you’ve ever done! If you choose to continue flight training with us, many more exciting days are to follow!
A current Jabiru aircraft is in the category of Light Sports Aircraft (LSA). This is the type of powered flight training that we do at the Adelaide Soaring Club.
Jabiru Aircraft are strongly built in Australia and are an ideal training aircraft.
Flying LSA is considered to be very safe when compared to many sports. The most dangerous part is the drive to the airfield.
LSA flying is also low cost compared to other private aircraft forms and is the fastest growing form of aviation in the world today!
We also offer flights and training in modern 2 seat gliders.
